About

I am a Finnish wardrobe stylist, tailor and costume designer currently based in Helsinki. I works with artists, production companies and private clients, creating unique custom clothes and looks for photoshoots, music and commercial videos, film, stage and every day use. My inspiration comes from music and nature and 60’s and 70’s styles but my main goal is to bring out my client’s personality and help them feel great about themselves. With clothes you can tell stories and who you are as a person. Clothes can change your whole mood and how you feel about yourself.

I discovered love for fashion at a young age through my mother and grandmothers. They surrounded me by art and sewing and I spend my childhood days dressing in my mother’s clothes. This led me to study fashion and print designing and manufacturing at Häme University of Applied Sciences and graduated as a bachelor of Culture and Arts. I also have a degree as a Tailor and Artisan of Arts and Crafts in Fashion and Textile designing and manufacturing. My education and experience have given me advanced skills in fashion, costume and print designing, pattern cutting and sewing, as well as a technical understanding of the manufacturing process, technical drawings, materials, colours, proportions and fit. 

I have worked with artists such as Bonnie Tyler, Glen Matlock, Mike Inez and companies including Veli Creative, Business Finland and Helsinki Design District. For Business Finland I curated a trade event where Finnish design and lifestyle brands were presented to UK buyers at the Finish Institute in London. I was in charge of the layout and design of the space, communication and selecting the displayed products with the presented brands. For Helsinki Design District, a Finnish design association, I organised an educational seminar. This was part of my Bachelor's dissertation and I was in charge of all the aspects of the event. I have also worked for fashion brand Tauko Design and a design shop Paloni as a seamstress.
